Job summary

Modern Industries in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Facilities/Building Maintenance Technician who will perform routine maintenance and repair work to keep buildings, systems, and equipment in good condition. You will carry out carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical tasks, HVAC preventive maintenance, and roof/grounds upkeep while following safety practices.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of facilities maintenance experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Perform functions as required relating to building maintenance.
Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical tasks to maintain buildings.
Perform routine commercial HVAC preventive maintenance as required.
Perform roof maintenance. Inspect condition of roofs. Clean roof gutters and drains.
Move and relocate office furniture and equipment, adjust desks, chairs and files as needed.
Inspect and maintain facilities, buildings and grounds. Perform routine maintenance and light grounds keeping.
Document inspections, logs, and work orders manually and on a computer.
Supports supervisors with leading and directing others and improving the efficiency and productivity on the Building Maintenance Department.
Semiconductor Manufacturing Lead experience preferred
Perform related duties as required.
