Job summary

ENT1009ECIL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee routine and preventive maintenance for building operations and storage areas. The role includes supervising maintenance staff, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring equipment reliability.

The position requires at least four years in facilities or building maintenance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work flexible hours, including occasional on-call and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years relevant work experience in facilities, maintenance or building technician roles.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including off-shift hours and weekend assignments.
• Knowledge of manual and electrical hand tools; capable of operating forklift and light motorized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, maintains, and installs machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous operations.
• Performs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air.
• Assists in ongoing preventive maintenance program with engineering and maintenance staff.
• Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with standards.
• Identifies low levels in inventory and maintains proper storage and use knowledge.
• Supports safety procedures, MSDS handling, labeling, and protective equipment requirements.
• Responds to work orders as directed by management.
• Some travel may be required.
• Overtime duties as outlined by General Manager.
