Job summary

Slate looks for a proactive Group Leader for Facilities and Maintenance to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and improvements of our manufacturing facility for the Crew F Shift. You will lead a team of technicians and ensure equipment reliability in a safe, efficient environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years in facilities or maintenance in manufacturing, strong leadership, and CMMS/OSHA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities or maintenance in manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience required.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Familiarity with CMMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the facilities and maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance of equipment and infrastructure.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support manufacturing goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and procurement of tools and spare parts.
• Oversee facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting continuous improvement and skill development.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
