Job summary

Coconino County Facilities Management Department is seeking a custodial/grounds position to maintain County facilities and landscapes across Flagstaff and surrounding areas. Under limited supervision, you will clean facilities, perform grounds maintenance, and assist with special events, with outdoor duties 10–20% of the time.

Essential duties include lifting up to 60 pounds, operating custodial equipment, and following safety guidelines. A valid Arizona driver’s license is required by hire.

Qualifications

One year of custodial experience, or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Must be able to operate custodial and landscaping equipment safely and effectively.

Cleans and maintains County facilities
Identifies and reports repair needs
Performs grounds maintenance, including snow removal
May perform minor repairs on custodial equipment
May assist with special events
