Job summary

Yuma County Ag is seeking a Custodial Supervisor assistant to lead custodial teams across multiple county buildings. Under minimal supervision, you will support leadership, ensure high-quality cleaning, and manage daily operations in a countywide scope.

You will train staff, develop task schedules, perform quality inspections, coordinate daily activities, and report safety hazards. The role requires a high school diploma, several years custodial experience, supervisory exposure, a valid Arizona

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 4 years custodial experience; 6 months supervisory experience; or equivalent.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license.
• Must obtain and maintain ISSA certification.
• Background check required by Yuma County.

Responsibilities

• Assist Custodial Supervisor with leadership and guidance of custodial teams.
• Lead custodians in floor care and cleaning tasks.
• Develop and maintain task schedules; coordinate daily activities.
• Train staff in equipment and chemical use.
• Perform quality assurance inspections and report issues.
• Maintain inventory and handle routine maintenance.
• Occasional minor repairs and restocking of facilities.
