Job summary

Serrato Corporation in McKinney, TX is seeking a Maintenance and Landscaping Technician to perform general maintenance and landscaping on Center grounds and facilities. The role covers skilled and unskilled tasks in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor construction, while ensuring safety and policy adherence.

You will supervise students, maintain records, keep equipment in good condition, and uphold high standards of cleanliness and operation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled or unskilled work in plumbing, heating, carpentry, painting and minor construction as needed.
• Paints interiors or exteriors of Center buildings and other surfaces.
• Constructs storage bins, stockroom shelves, counters, workbenches and similar items using hand and power tools.
• Supervises and assigns students to work detail; maintains classrooms and halls in clean, safe condition.
• Keeps grounds well maintained and ensures equipment is cleaned, serviced, and in operable condition.
• Maintains appropriate records, files, and supplies for maintenance operations as directed by supervisor.
• Complies with safety practices and CDSS/OFCCP/Center policies; participates in required staff training.
