Job summary

ESFM is seeking a full-time General Labor/Maintenance role in New York, NY. The position supports day-to-day upkeep, maintenance, and smooth operation of the building and campus, including minor repairs and equipment installation assistance.

The role requires cleaning and maintenance tasks, plus ability to handle HVAC/plumbing/electrical tweaks, and occasional moving of heavy items. A driver’s license may be required, and a cell phone stipend is provided.

Qualifications

• General office cleaning and maintenance experience preferred.
• Mailroom experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with day-to-day upkeep, maintenance and smooth operation of the building and campus.
• Repairs, maintains and assists in installation of equipment.
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Monitors HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems; replaces air filters as needed.
• Performs routine cleaning in floors, restrooms and common areas.
• Moves heavy furniture and equipment as required.
