Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment including HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot complex machinery using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on low voltage systems and control panels.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Use CMMS to schedule preventive maintenance, track work orders and document repairs.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems including refrigeration cycles and ductwork.
• Read electrical schematics/blueprints to troubleshoot wiring and implement improvements.
• Support industrial mechanics with welding, hydraulics and pneumatic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including HVAC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial control panels to minimize downtime.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as scissor lifts and ensure compliance with safety standards during all activities.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule preventive maintenance tasks, track work orders, and document repairs.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems using technical knowledge of refrigeration cycles, ductwork, thermostats, and electrical controls.
• Read electrical schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot wiring issues or modify existing systems for process improvements.
• Support industrial mechanic activities including stick welding, equipment repair, hydraulic system troubleshooting, and pneumatic system analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement facility upgrades or modifications that improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and conducting regular safety audits.

Experience

• Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with hands-on maintenance responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and electrical maintenance practices.
• Experience operating diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Skilled in mechanical repair tasks including welding (stick welding), hydraulic repairs, pneumatic systems troubleshooting, and equipment diagnostics.
• Practical experience with HVAC/R systems installation, repair, or maintenance is highly desirable.
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals effectively.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, electrical blueprint reading, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to address operational issues promptly.
