Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in building maintenance with knowledge of local building codes, carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC and boilers.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and insurability requirements.
• Physical ability to lift 40 pounds and meet other physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs the center facility, grounds and systems.
• Supervises maintenance staff in the absence of the Facility Manager/Supervisor.
• Provides supervision and training to Work-Based Learning students in the department.
• Coordinates activities with related programs as applicable.
