Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs repair and preventive maintenance to facility and building systems on Center.
• May inspect the work of other maintenance personnel.
• Researches and recommends purchase of replacement equipment as needed.
• Oversee training activities of students assigned to the maintenance area.
• Oversee activities and quality of performance of outside contractors.
• Conduct periodic inspections of building systems and equipment.
• Coordinate activities with the Facilities Maintenance vocational training program.
• Complete work orders as assigned in a timely manner.
• Provide student transport as necessary.
• Produce quality work in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain attendance, accountability and productivity standards.
• Plan, prioritize and organize assignments to meet goals and deadlines.
• Apply job knowledge to complete duties; maintain skills.
• Mentor and model Career Success Standards as required.
• Show respect and accountability to students.
• Provide quality services and pursue improvement for student needs.
• Communicate clearly and concisely; share information with DOL/Company as requested.
• Collaborate with staff across departments to ensure effective supervision and services.
• Accept direction from leadership; cover duties as needed.
