Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced maintenance professional in Crystal Springs, MS to oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and supervision of staff. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 5+ years in building maintenance, knowledge of codes, and a valid in-state driver's license.
The position involves physical work and potential supervision of students. Responsibilities include supervising staff in the absence of management, coordinating with related programs,
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited school preferred. Minimum 5 years’ experience in building maintenance required with knowledge of local building codes, carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems, boilers and other building systems. Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred. Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
Supervises maintenance staff in the absence of the Facility Manager/Supervisor. May provide supervision and training to Job Corps’ Work-Based Learning students assigned to the department.
