Responsibilities include completing work orders, inspecting facilities, and documenting activities while adhering to safety policies. Requires carpentry/mechanic experience and proficiency with power tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or relevant experience.
• Two years of experience as Building Maintenance Engineer or construction work; hospitality preferred.
• Carpenter or Mechanic experience required.
• Knowledge of power tools.
• Experience with basic electrical systems up to 480V.
• Ability to read schematics and diagrams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and use electronic test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and repairs in a timely and thorough manner.
• Maintain cost effectiveness in building repairs and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with current National Electric Code.
• Evaluate equipment condition and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Identify malfunctioning equipment and correct the problem.
• Advise management on safety and cost effectiveness of equipment operation.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment.
• Document repair status and activity logs.
• Request equipment and supplies to maintain inventory.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with installation.
• Maintain guest service focus and minimize downtime.
• Oversee completion and documentation of work orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow safety, risk management and environmental policies.
• Be trainable in general maintenance and troubleshooting.
