Job summary

Omaha Marriott Downtown At The Capitol District is seeking an Engineer I to maintain building systems and perform preventative maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and high guest satisfaction. You will document calls, follow safety procedures, and keep facilities in top condition within a premier downtown hotel.

The role requires basic engineering experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to read technical documents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• CFC Refrigerant handling certification preferred.
• Power Engineering Training Program certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily shift reports and log maintenance requests in Marriott system.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and procedures.
• Maintain building interior and exterior.
• Address guest/associate requests promptly to foster rapport.
• Perform preventative maintenance on FF&E.
• Assist in cost control and energy/water usage optimization.
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
