Job summary

SREA Property Management, LLC is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Engineer to join our Philadelphia portfolio, supporting the surrounding suburban market. This hands-on role requires strong troubleshooting across trades and dependable, self-motivated work ethic.

You will manage tenant work orders and coordinate with contractors on site. The position is full-time with a day shift, on-call availability for emergencies, and a company mobile phone provided.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of building maintenance experience.
• Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, customer service, self-starter and independent work ethic.
• Comfortable with technology (smartphones, energy management systems, work order platforms).
• Starting at $33.00/hour, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and general maintenance across our Philadelphia portfolio.
• Handle basic electrical troubleshooting, plumbing repairs, drywall patching, and assist with HVAC diagnostics and minor repairs.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and manage tenant work orders through our online system with a mobile device.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors, and report to the Chief Engineer and property manager as needed.
