Job summary

Southern Land Company is seeking a Service Technician for a high-rise apartment community in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on completing maintenance requests, ensuring safety, and preparing units for leasing while providing excellent customer service.

The candidate should have 2+ years in property maintenance, OSHA knowledge, and be available for after-hours emergencies. On-site work includes HVAC and plumbing tasks, lighting, and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in property management maintenance or equivalent experience.
• Fair housing training.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service.
• Diagnose defects and perform repairs following safety standards and code requirements.
• Make-ready process for vacant apartment homes and inspect completed work.
• Monitor and replace lights and bulbs as needed.
• Repair windows, doors, plumbing fixtures, and minor drywall tasks.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities.
