Qualifications

• Two years of prior work experience supporting facilities equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Refrigerant or HVAC related licensing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and troubleshoot equipment and site property; perform mechanical/electrical repairs as needed.
• Complete preventive maintenance per manufacturer instructions and follow work orders.
• Monitor and adjust auxiliary equipment to enhance performance.
• Adhere to plant safety and Plastipak Environmental, Health and Safety policies.
• Notify supervisor of needed repairs and ensure safe operation of equipment.

The Facilities Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting equipment and site property; making adjustments and/or mechanical/electrical repairs to the machines and equipment in a safe, efficient manner.

You Will

• Have a working knowledge of auxiliary support equipment, including but not limited to: Chillers, Compressors (high or low pressure), Towers, Air Dryers, Pumps, etc.
• Have working knowledge of general building and ground maintenance, including but not limited to: 120/227V electrical, lighting, plumbing, and painting, etc.
• Ensure operation of auxiliary equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, follow manufacture’s instructions, and notify supervisor of needed repairs
• Enhance auxiliary equipment performance through monitoring and making adjustments
• Adhere to plant preventive maintenance and follow proper work orders procedures
• Perform all assigned work in a safe manner, upholding Plastipak Environmental, Health and Safety policies

You Have
