Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc in Jackson Center, Ohio seeks a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to maintain, service, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently. You will work with chillers, compressors, towers, air dryers, pumps and other auxiliary systems; perform preventive maintenance and follow work orders; report and coordinate repairs.

Two years of plant maintenance experience plus strong mechanical and electrical skills are required; refrigerant or HVAC licensing is

• Two years of prior work experience supporting facilities equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Refrigerant or HVAC licensing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and troubleshoot equipment and site properties in a safe, efficient manner.
• Complete preventive maintenance and follow manufacture's instructions; notify supervisor of repairs.
• Enhance auxiliary equipment performance through monitoring and adjustments.
• Adhere to plant preventive maintenance and work order procedures; perform all assigned work safely.
