Job summary

Empire Care Centers is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the Facility's daily and preventive maintenance program. This role is hands-on within the facility and includes inspection, repair, and general maintenance of interior and exterior areas, while leading the maintenance staff to deliver timely, quality service.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, SNF experience preferred, and must be able to work flexible hours and be on an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours and be on-call rotation.
• 1-2 years of experience.
• SNF experience is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the maintenance staff to ensure efficient, timely, and competent maintenance service.
• Complete daily facility inspections.
• Recommend repair or replacement of interior and/or exterior components.
• Understand and adhere to maintenance budgets.
• Monitor maintenance and upkeep of all mechanical equipment (water heaters, HVAC, kitchen equipment, etc.).
• Perform and/or supervise installations, carpentry, furnace/AC repairs, filter changes, coil cleaning, plumbing, appliance repairs, drywall/painting, vinyl work, minor roof repairs.
• Control maintenance storage and mechanical rooms.
