Job summary

CareCore Health in the Cincinnati area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance, safety, and physical operations of our skilled nursing facility. This hands-on leader will drive maintenance programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage on-site operations.

The role requires prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience, strong Life Safety Code knowledge, and the ability to coordinate preventative maintenance and emergency responses.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care facilities or skilled nursing settings.
• Strong knowledge of Life Safety Code and healthcare regulations.
• Ability to perform and coordinate preventative maintenance and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance, upkeep of facility, grounds, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Life Safety Code, fire safety, and healthcare regulations.
• Maintain maintenance, inspection, and Life Safety documentation.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and address HVAC/plumbing/electrical issues.
• Coordinate outside vendors/contractors as needed.
• Prepare facility for state surveys and Life Safety inspections.
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance needs.
