Job summary

The Benjamin Healthcare Center LLC in Mission Hill, MA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to lead our facilities team and oversee repairs, maintenance, and renovations to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance supervisor role.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to coordinate with other departments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of maintenance staff to perform routine and emergency repairs, maintenance, and renovations to the facility
• Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal facility performance
• Manage the maintenance budget, track expenses, and make recommendations for capital expenditures
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise
• Perform inspections and assessments of the facility to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure cost-effective services
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to maintenance staff to improve their skills and effectiveness
