Job summary

The Pointe at Cedar Park is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to manage preventive and corrective maintenance, vendor contracts, and budgets for a safe, well-maintained campus. You will supervise staff, coordinate with leadership, and ensure compliance with safety and facility policies.

Responsibilities include budgeting, inventory control, and safety inspections to protect residents and employees. Strong English communication and physical fitness are required for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Read, write, and speak English.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations preferred.
• HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems knowledge preferred.
• Must be physically able to perform tasks including lifting up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparation and control of supplies, equipment, repairs and personnel budgets.
• Ensure a safe and sanitary environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Maintain positive public relations with residents and families, staff and the public.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per the maintenance manual.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with staff and executives.
• Assist Executive Director in hiring and training of new staff.
• Participate in safety inspections and emergency plans.
• Maintain on-site inventory and purchase supplies as needed.
• Initiate and monitor service contracts with suppliers.
• Report accidents to the Executive Director for proper follow-up actions.
