Job summary

GREATPLAINS seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to plan, organize, and direct the Maintenance Department ensuring safe, efficient facility operations. You will schedule preventive maintenance, coordinate with Dietary, Nursing, and Activities, and supervise staff to uphold quality and regulatory standards.

You will review maintenance programs, supervise safety initiatives, manage budgets, and liaise with vendors to ensure timely completion of work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance/plant role.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain maintenance policies and procedures.
• Direct the Maintenance Department and coordinate with other departments.
• Monitor safety and fire protection programs; inspect work areas.
• Oversee outside vendors and ensure contracts/work orders are fulfilled.
• Prepare and manage the Maintenance Department budget.
