Job summary

Santa Maria Post Acute, a 55-bed skilled nursing facility in Santa Maria, CA, seeks a Maintenance Director to oversee all building operations and maintenance activities on-site. You will lead the Maintenance Department and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least 2 years of supervisory experience, and strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with staff, residents, families, and regulators.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Maintenance Department and perform hands-on maintenance work as needed.
• Maintain building in good repair and hazard-free, complying with laws.
• Maintain records and assist in budget planning for Maintenance.
• Order supplies and orient maintenance personnel.
• Participate in department meetings and committees.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and orient maintenance staff.
