Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in a similar position preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of operation, maintenance and repair of electrical, HVAC, plumbing and mechanical equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to obtain/maintain required certifications and licenses.

Responsibilities

• Administer maintenance operations to keep facilities and equipment efficient.
• Hire, train, evaluate and discipline maintenance staff.
• Develop and implement procedures and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire and building codes.
• Maintain knowledge of boilers, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Monitor staffing levels to meet business needs.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontracted projects.
• Oversee purchasing and parts inventories.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
