Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation, a premier casino entertainment company in the United States, seeks an engineering supervisor to lead maintenance and facilities teams. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest and employee experiences, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and managing budgets and assets across our properties.

Strong leadership, communication, and a proven track record in engineering oversight are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Environmental Management.
Minimum five years’ general engineering and maintenance supervisory experience, or eight years’ progressive engineering experience with five years supervisory.
Must obtain and maintain licenses/certifications per Federal, State and Gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

Develop an environment that excites guests and employees and retain skilled workforce.
Provide superior customer service and handle difficult customers; work harmoniously with coworkers.
Hire, train, motivate, evaluate, and manage staff to meet objectives.
Set department objectives, standards, budget, and administrative processes to achieve proper management of department.
Inspect property utilities and equipment; take action to minimize violations during OSHA inspections.
Coordinate asbestos-related projects with outside contractors; act as in-house advisor to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Oversee purchasing and inventory control within the span of control.
