Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a maintenance technician to perform repairs and routine maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems in our facilities in the Las Vegas area. You will respond to emergencies, install wiring, service air handlers, and ensure safety and compliance with company policies.

The role requires physical endurance, the ability to work in confined spaces, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Prior related experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
• Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
• Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance to air conditioning, furnace, plumbing, electrical, and other related systems and equipment.
• Respond to emergency situations such as fire, power outage, gas or water leak.
• Install electrical conduit and wiring throughout complex.
• Service and repair air handler units, cooling towers, and related equipment.
• Repair or install parking lot lighting ballasts and other outdoor lighting.
• Weld metal fabrication and install material as needed.
• Replace and install high voltage shunt and motor control gear.
• Clear drains and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain safety and compliance with company policies and EEO guidelines.
