Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a maintenance/plant-related position.
• Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules and maintain written policies and procedures.
• Direct the Maintenance Department and its programs and activities.
• Coordinate maintenance with other departments and internal teams.
• Oversee safety and fire protection programs and ensure proper use of safety equipment.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and storage areas for upkeep and safety.
• Monitor budgets for equipment, supplies, and labor and report to management.
• Ensure vendors complete work per contracts and supervise contractors as needed.
• Conduct periodic rounds to verify maintenance tasks are performed correctly.
