Job summary

The Salvation Army Lowell Corps is seeking a Facilities Coordinator in Lowell, MA to oversee cleaning, maintenance, and preventative tasks for the facility. You will manage cleaning schedules, inventory, and setup for program activities, while coordinating with staff and contractors as needed.

Responsibilities include HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work within code requirements, snow removal, and ensuring a safe, well-maintained building for all programs and donor activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3 years prior experience in a maintenance position.
• Driver’s License and basic technical skills recommended.

Responsibilities

• Clean the building per schedule and maintain cleanliness.
• Inventory and stock cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Set up/break down rooms for programs as needed.
• Maintain grounds, windows, and exterior areas.
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical tasks as permitted.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for quotes and work.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules and inspections.
• Move/deliver items and handle light transportation tasks.
