Job summary

MMCAA is seeking a Facilities Technician to support maintenance, repairs, and operational tasks across agency facilities. The role requires coordinating work orders, performing repairs, conducting inspections, and maintaining accurate records.

The position emphasizes safety, compliance with regulations, and coordinating with contractors. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required; a driver’s license is preferred. The role may involve travel between sites and physical tasks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility work orders and maintenance requests across agency locations.
• Perform building repairs and maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, lighting, and general upkeep.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify safety concerns to maintain safe environments.
• Coordinate contractor access and monitor work progress to ensure standards and timelines.
• Assist with preventive maintenance, inspections, and compliance activities for HVAC, playgrounds, and other systems.
• Maintain facility records, maintenance logs, inspection reports, and work orders.
• Assist in fleet operations including vehicle maintenance scheduling and recordkeeping.
• Support building security, access procedures, and emergency preparedness.
