SP+ in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking a facility maintenance associate to support upkeep and customer interface across multiple shifts. The role involves routine cleaning, light maintenance, and adherence to safety standards within a busy parking facility.

Experience is welcome but not required; candidates must be able to perform under supervision, lift up to 50 pounds, and pass license checks. The position offers full-time hours on various schedules with benefits and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; facility maintenance, electrical and/or painting experience may be required depending on assignment.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Availability for special shifts; weekend/3rd shift may be required.
• Ability to read, write and interpret English; clear oral/written communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks per checklists to ensure the facility is clean and safe.
• Walk the garage daily to note and fix maintenance issues.
• Sweep, mop, and clean entrances, exits, rails, booths, and offices; empty trash.
• Paint surfaces as directed to keep areas neat and presentable.
• Replace bulbs and manage spills; submit repair requests as needed.
• Operate equipment such as sweepers and snow removal tools when required.
• Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and keep records.
