Job summary

Neovia Logistics Services (NLS) in Grand Rapids is seeking a Maintenance Associate to perform cleaning and basic maintenance duties across facilities. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow safety procedures while maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and fixtures; assisting with minor repairs to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems; and preparing facilities for events.

Qualifications

• High school education, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks on time with personal integrity.
• Basic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Notify managers concerning repairs to building operating systems.
