Neogen Corporation in Lansing, MI, seeks a versatile Facilities Operations Maintenance professional to manage day-to-day campus upkeep, interior and exterior spaces, and safety compliance. You’ll handle carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, lawn care, and debris removal while keeping buildings clean, safe, and fully functional.

This role blends indoor and outdoor tasks and reports to the Facilities Operations Supervisor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in general building maintenance, property management, or commercial groundskeeping.
• Proficient with commercial landscaping equipment and standard hand/power tools used for building repairs.
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry, drywall, painting, and door/hardware adjustments; minor plumbing/electrical repairs.
• Maintain outdoor spaces: lawn care, landscaping, debris removal.
• Manage weather-related safety: snow removal, salting, drainage.
• Track and close daily tasks using CMMS.
• Operate tools and equipment safely; follow PPE and LOTO rules.
• Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and deep cleaning as needed.
