Job summary

Ascension Living in Manhattan, KS seeks a Maintenance teammate to assist with testing, inspection, implementation and maintenance of equipment, systems and structures. You may perform minor repairs, replacements, and moving of items, and may work at residents' homes as needed.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (or 1 year of related experience) and a valid driver’s license; boiler operator preferred.

Qualifications

• Boiler Operator preferred.
• Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with performing testing, inspection, implementation and maintenance of equipment, systems and structures.
• Perform minor repairs and replacements, including replacing light bulbs and fire extinguishers, as requested/necessary.
• Perform the moving of items within/between locations and from/to storage, including furniture, equipment, and files.
• May perform duties at participant's home or place of residence.
• Know and adhere to safety codes and regulatory agency requirements.
