Job summary

San Manuel is seeking a Maintenance Helper reporting to the Assistant Manager of Facilities. The role performs general cleaning and maintenance across the resort and connected buildings, supports EVS and Facilities trades, and contributes to operational excellence.

Duties include responding to work orders via HotSOS, performing minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical tasks, and preparing rooms for events.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of power and handheld tools required; must possess personal set of tools.
• Ability to operate forklift, powerlift, and various other equipment.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines when using required equipment, tools, and techniques while performing job duties.
• Ability to read and follow various signage and oral and written instructions.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of emergency shut-off procedures for gas, water, electrical, etc.

Responsibilities

• Receives work orders/requests from Facilities and EVS management and performs necessary tasks.
• Assists with promoting brand loyalty by engaging in exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Performs wall repairs, minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs.
• Conducts daily inspections of Enterprise properties and performs preventative maintenance.
• Maintains and uses safety chemicals; follows SDS and safety rules.
• Prepares rooms for use by setting up and tearing down chairs, tables, and equipment for events.
• Performs other duties to support efficient operation of the department.
