Job summary

San Manuel is seeking a Maintenance Helper to support the Facilities and EVS teams at the Highland, CA property. You will perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks, assist trades, and help prepare rooms for events in a fast-paced resort and casino environment.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, conducting routine inspections, following safety procedures, and using power tools to handle minor repairs. The role requires a HS diploma or GED and 1 year of maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of power and handheld tools; must have own tool set.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license; forklift/MEWP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives work orders on HotSOS and assists Facilities and EVS teams.
• Performs wall repairs, patching, touch‑up painting, and minor carpentry.
• Conducts daily property inspections and routine preventative maintenance.
• Maintains chemicals per SDS; manages stock and housekeeping.
• Prepares rooms for events and sets up furniture and equipment.
• Performs other duties to support Operations.
