Job summary

Simply Southern Holdings is seeking a Property Maintenance Supervisor to manage and oversee maintenance of equipment across Greensboro and other locations. You will coordinate repairs, procure parts, and supervise contractors while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, record-keeping, and coordination with inspectors and vendors. Requires 3+ years electrical/mechanical experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel when new stores open and if needed.
• Basic PC skills including DOS, Microsoft Windows NT, Word & Excel.
• Basic AC/DC electrical knowledge and electronics principles.
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards.

• Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Able to lift up to 75+ pounds when required.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $17.00 - $18.00 Hourly

Simply Southern Property Maintenance

The Simply Southern Property Maintenance will manage and oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment in the warehouse and other company locations, recommend and requisition all materials and supplies necessary to perform equipment and building maintenance, develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization, check and inspect licenses necessary for the facility to function (fire extinguishers exit lights etc.), maintain company vehicles inspections and coordinate basic scheduled maintenance, coordinate with construction companies for new store openings as well as setting up the furniture and coordinate with city inspectors for licenses, manage preventive maintenance programs and ensure schedule is adhered to in order to minimize downtime, responsible for all contract maintenance including quotes, contracts, and job completion to specifications, manage the development, implementation and administration of operational policies programs and systems within functional area, identify and resolve mechanical problems; and communicate expertise and approvals concerning departmental activities, oversee and ensure building, grounds and equipment are clean and well maintained, interact with facility management to ensure maintenance needs are met, tour facility to ensure the condition of the facility is maintained, ability to develop and maintain training programs such as: Lock Out / Tag Out, conveyor safety, proper PM procedures, working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, HAZMAT, etc.

• Oversees all aspects of facility maintenance, including repairs, renovations, assist overseeing building store locations and upgrades.
• Identifies and addresses maintenance issues, ensuring timely repairs and solutions.
• Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Ensures adherence to safety regulations and procedures.

Coordination & Communication:

• Collaborates with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicates effectively with staff, management, and contractors.
• Prepares reports and briefs on equipment, safety, and project progress.

Budget Management:

• Prepares and manages maintenance budgets.
• Monitors spending and identifies cost-saving opportunities.

Procurement:

• Procures materials, supplies, and repair parts to maintain inventory as required.

Experience:

• Electrical: 3+ years (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• High school diploma or GED

Schedule:

• 8+ hour shift
• Work schedule is 8:30am - 5:30pm M-F plus weekends and any emergencies (must be able to answer calls and work if needed) Must be able to lift up to 75+ pounds when needed
