Job summary

Bald Head Island Club is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician (Facilities) to maintain and repair our club’s facilities, equipment, and grounds. This full-time role keeps buildings and systems running smoothly for members, guests, and staff.

You’ll perform general maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry issues, complete carpentry projects, and conduct preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance, facilities, or handyman work.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry basics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical or structural issues.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician (Facilities)

Full-Time | Benefits Eligible

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help maintain and repair our Club’s facilities, equipment, and grounds. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and keeping buildings and systems running smoothly.

From small repairs to preventative maintenance, this position plays an important role in ensuring our facilities remain safe, functional, and well maintained for members, guests, and staff. This position is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 8 pm.

What You’ll Do

• Perform general maintenance and repair work across Club facilities
