Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Manager of Facility Management and Life Safety to oversee designated ASC grounds and equipment, ensure compliance with Life Safety Codes and accreditation standards, and manage construction projects and maintenance activities.

The role supports hospital operations and safety initiatives across Surgery Centers. You will monitor preventive maintenance, coordinate vendor work, and provide leadership to ensure clean, well-maintained, and safe centers, with emphasis on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five years of healthcare facility operations and maintenance experience.
• One year with life safety and hazardous materials programs in healthcare or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of AAAHC, CDPHE, EPA, JCAHO, OSHA requirements and hospital mechanical systems including HVAC, gases, power.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility grounds and equipment for all assigned surgery centers.
• Inspect generators and fire mitigation systems.
• Support daily operation of surgery center systems (boilers, HVAC, gases, pumps, etc.).
• Ensure fire alarm systems are tested and repairs completed in time.
• Coordinate repair activities of service vendors.
• Provide oversight for renovations with colleagues.
• Delegate tasks to ensure repairs or modifications are carried out.
