Acadia Healthcare is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the buildings, grounds, fixtures, and equipment across the facility. You will manage preventive maintenance, regulatory compliance, and staff development to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The role requires experience in healthcare maintenance, strong project management skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple contractors while maintaining accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or technical field preferred.
• 5+ years healthcare construction/maintenance experience preferred.
• 10+ years construction/maintenance/healthcare supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license where required in a facility.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee general building maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, painting, roofing, minor repairs and electrical work.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is completed on all equipment.
• Ensure facility is sanitary, attractive, safe, and compliant with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (NFPA, OSHA, CMS, TJC).
• Provide staff management including hiring, development, training, performance management, and communication.
• Ensure proper operations and maintenance of water, electrical, sewage, HVAC, and fire alarm systems.
• Develop facility maintenance plans and project timetables; recommend maintenance projects.
• Serve as project manager for small-scale, short-duration projects.
• Respond to facility fire and disaster situations per emergency plans.
• Coordinate outside vendors/contractors and maintenance staff to complete projects.
