UNLV's Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine seeks an Assistant Director, Space and Facilities, to lead the shared-services facilities team across 14 locations and 315,000 square feet. You will manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with departments and vendors to advance strategic initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, writing and communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic academic setting.

Qualifications

• This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 3–5 years of facilities or operations experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience supervising an administrative department responsible for state and federal regulations is required.
• Exceptional writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the space and facilities management team for 14 locations and 315,000 square feet.
• Supervise multidisciplinary staff and contractors, ensuring timely completion of responsibilities.
• Monitor expenditures, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with UNLV and KKSOM policies and standards.
• Partner with departments and vendors to advance growth and strategic initiatives.
• Exercise independent judgment over facility operations, emergency preparedness, access, security, and inventory.
