Job summary

The Oaks at Whitaker Glen in Raleigh, NC, part of PruittHealth, seeks a seasoned Director of Facility Services to lead maintenance operations, life safety compliance, capital planning, and vendor management.

The role oversees HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems, ensuring survey readiness and exceptional resident service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive facilities leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Facility Services team while promoting safety, accountability, and customer service.
• Oversee maintenance of all building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, generators, fire protection, elevators, security, and building automation.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and maintain survey readiness.
• Develop and manage departmental operating and capital budgets and oversee vendor contracts and service agreements.
• Lead capital improvement, renovation, and construction projects from planning through completion.
• Oversee campus grounds, exterior maintenance, and overall physical appearance of the community.
• Coordinate refurbishment timelines and quality inspections with on-site contractors and the Director of Member Services.
• Monitor renovation budgets, contractor performance, project schedules, and resident satisfaction.
