Job summary

Oaks Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee residence maintenance, safety, and upkeep of grounds. You will manage inventory, coordinate vendors, and prepare rooms for new residents while supporting events and move-ins.

You will lead a maintenance team, ensure compliance with OSHA and fire/safety procedures, supervise HVAC, plumbing, electrical and lighting systems, and develop a maintenance budget to keep the facility safe and comfortable for residents.

Qualifications

• OSHA standards and MSDS sheets as applicable to facility maintenance.
• Fire and safety procedures compliance and drills.
• Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate residence maintenance and grounds upkeep for safety and aesthetics.
• Attend to repair requests promptly and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
• Oversee resident move-ins/outs and event setup/cleanup.
• Manage inventory, vendors and a maintenance budget.
• Test fire protection and security systems and maintain HVAC and lighting.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and sanitation in accordance with policies.
