Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., part of The Boeing Company, seeks an experienced leader to plan and optimize facilities and manufacturing processes. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, analyze production metrics, oversee RF systems maintenance, and drive continual improvements across assets and output.

Requirements include 2+ years in aerospace/manufacturing facilities, leadership experience, and proficiency with MS Office; flexibility for 2nd/3rd shifts and 20+ staff oversight is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Aerospace, Aviation, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Metallic Finishing/Processing, Assembly or Machining.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing/supervising a team of 20 or more employees.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership/management experience (industry or military).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment over Facilities.
• Experience reviewing, delivering or monitoring production metrics.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working experience with multiple cross functional groups (Quality, Assembly, Procurement, Supply Chain, Machining, Facilities etc.).
• Prior management level experience reporting out to Senior Leadership on department production status.
• Flexibility working 2nd, 3rd or alternative work week shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and integrate resources necessary for maintaining or improving company assets.
• Analyze and improve facilities methods and conditions.
• Coordinate activities with other company organizations and customers.
• Analyze data using statistics and other tools.
• Recommend and implement continual improvements.
• Develop plans, resolve problems, establish schedules and track progress to maintain or improve buildings, equipment, and systems.
• Oversee the installation, testing, certification, and maintenance of radio frequency systems and electromagnetic facilities.
• Develop scope of work, acquire materials and services, and oversee facilities contracts.
• Maintain historical records.
• Interface with company organizations, customers, and suppliers.
