Job summary

Goodwill of Southern Nevada is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance operations at the Central Warehouse in Las Vegas, NV. You will act as the primary contact for building issues including climate control, electrical, plumbing, emergencies, and repairs.

You will lead maintenance staff, coordinate projects, obtain vendor bids, and ensure safety and compliance with CARF standards across all Goodwill locations.

Qualifications

• Must own and be able to operate powered and non-powered tools.
• Proficiency with basic mathematical computation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
• Exhibits integrity and business ethics.
• Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Manages, plans, coordinates, and performs facility maintenance and modification at all Goodwill owned or leased facilities.
• Plans, purchases, installs, and sets up new retail store fixtures at existing and new locations as needed.
• Acts as project coordinator for small to large scale repairs, remodels, and new facility construction projects.
• Solicits bids and quotes from vendors as needed.
• Coordinates contractor repairs and schedules maintenance as required.
• Maintains records of repairs and scheduled maintenance.
• Performs carpentry, painting, basic electrical work, and minor plumbing repairs as necessary.
• Serves on safety committee and supports accessibility and CARF standards conformance.
