Job summary

Excel Center is seeking a Senior Facilities Technician to travel across Goodwill locations, leading facility repairs and renovations with a focus on safety, quality, and strong customer relations. You will coordinate with contractors, landlords, and site leadership to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires hands-on mechanical work, strong communication, and a proactive approach to maintenance and improvements across retail stores, warehouses, and corporate campuses.

Qualifications

• Oversees full lifecycle construction projects and ensures safety, quality and customer service standards are met.
• Reads and interprets architectural drawings for construction specs.
• Budgets supplies, equipment and labor for projects.

Responsibilities

• Travel to Goodwill locations to maintain and repair facilities.
• Serve as relationship manager for internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead onsite for new sites or renovations with contractors and staff.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors to complete work.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and municipality requirements.
• Provide clear facility-related communications across sites.
• Perform mechanical disassembly, repair, and inspection of equipment.
• Maintain inventory and keep shop organized.
• Maintain safety training and seek continuous development.
