Job summary

Eskaton is seeking a Maintenance Technician in California to uphold the safety, appearance, and functionality of our aging communities. You will perform preventive maintenance, handle basic repairs, and coordinate with the facility administrator on priorities and occupancy readiness.

The role requires at least two years of general maintenance experience and hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Minimum two years general maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on building and grounds per the system and safety program.
• Ensure compliance with Eskaton policy, HUD requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with facility administrator on repair priorities and unit preparations.
• Inspect and maintain units for occupancy readiness.
• Troubleshoot major malfunctions in plumbing, electrical, and heating/cooling systems.
