Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; trade school preferred.
• Minimum 2 years general maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems; ability to read English.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance work per the preventive maintenance system and safety program.
• Ensure compliance with Eskaton policies, HUD rules, and regulations.
• Consult with facility administrator on repair priorities and occupancy prep.
• Prepare apartment units for occupancy and inspect grounds/building exteriors daily.
• Troubleshoot major malfunctions in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs as needed.
