Qualifications

Minimum of five years of administrative experience with three years in an administrative or nursing management role.
Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, or psychiatric nursing.
Requires effective verbal and written communication skills; strong managerial and inter-personal abilities.
Requires excellent fiscal and budgetary skills and the ability to plan, organize and implement work.

Responsibilities

Administer the community in accordance with regulations, policy, program and budget.
Provide licensee with interpretations of standards of care and supervision.
Develop an administrative plan to define responsibilities and workloads.
Recruit, employ, train, and manage staff; terminate as needed.
Interview residents and families; complete pre-placement assessments.
Provide services with residents’ well-being and needs in mind; follow pre-admission plans.
Ensure safety for residents with impairments and arrange transportation as needed.
Uphold HIPAA compliance and company policies.
