Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Facilities Lead in Rhode Island to ensure the safety and functionality of the property and its equipment. You will supervise the onsite Facilities team and coordinate with third-party vendors to deliver high-quality service following Scion standards.

This role requires strong problem-solving and leadership in a fast-paced, collegiate environment, with experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems and a focus on timely repairs and preventive

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent; trade school or military training.
• 5 years of relevant experience managing building systems in multi-unit residential properties, with 2 years supervisory experience.
• EPA 608 Universal certification and CPO certification or plan to obtain within six months.
• Ability to read design drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines and manuals.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise building services and preventive maintenance per SOPs and regulations.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Monitor systems, diagnostics, maintenance, testing and certifications for major building systems.
• Operate life safety systems including fire protection and alarms.
• Schedule work, supervise technicians, and ensure quality and timeliness.
• Review completed work for adherence to standards and safety.
• Oversee vendor contracts, bids, and turn preparation including vacated units.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools with the General Manager.
