Job summary

Sodexo, a leading facilities services provider, is seeking a Utility Worker in Louisville, KY to support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization in food production and service areas. You will help with cleaning equipment, surfaces, and storage spaces, transport supplies, and assist with setup and breakdown during shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic food safety concepts.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors; remove trash.
• Clean equipment with chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies and assist with setup/breakdown tasks.
• Walk/stand for long shifts; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
